“You gotta have a blog,” they say. “Especially if you’re looking for full-time work.” Who are “they?” You know, the collective “they.” I’ve thought about the blog thing for a long time, but have resisted for one reason. I don’t really think anyone wants unfiltered musings on random topics from P.F. Actually, I had two reasons. Having no time, being the second. With all of the commitments I have to more traditional outlets, writing something (for free) that few people will likely see seems needlessly self-indulgent. Blogs also seem passé. I was sick of them five minutes after I first heard of them. Hmmm. That’s three reasons then. Yet, here we are. Why?

As it turns out, blogs have one very appealing aspect. The unfiltered platform provides the perfect outlet for all of those ideas that were kicked out of the sieves that I originally sent them through. Defunct football teams, fake news, historical subjects---I think they’re good ideas. I wouldn’t have submitted them in the first place if I had thought otherwise.

So this is “my blog.” I still cringe typing that, but there you have it. Look forward to articles, satire, opinion and so on. I’ll try to put new stuff up once a week. Can’t get enough P.F? Yeah, I didn’t think so, but still, if you’re curious about my other writings, you can go to:
